Using QUICK-FIRE fatwood we’re going to find out how many fires a stick of fatwood ignites.

The ferrocerium rod that we put into the QUICK-FIRE survival kit is the same Ferrocerium Rod that we use in the lightweight, compact QUICK-FIRE Striker.

You can also use the striker component to scrape the fat wood or fluff, the fat wood. I like to use my knife, if I have it. If I use my knife, I don’t have to clean the fatwood from the striker.
