Campfire Starters Episode 21

Firecraft is the practice of lighting fires with no matches for campfire or survival. In this episode we ignite our 21st fire and continue to count the strikes on the same QUICK-FIRE ferrocerium rod and we will continue striking with the same ferro rod until we cannot strike it any longer! This is the first ever public ongoing test to see how many strikes a typical ferro rod had.

We are also counting how many fires we can light with each QUICK-FIRE fatwood stick. Our first fatwood stick broke on Episode 18 and this is our third fire with our second fatwood stick.

The location for practicing our firecraft was moved to TW Outdoors in Kelowna, where we used our trade show equipment and banner for QUICK-FIRE demonstrations at the TW 30th birthday celebration!
